Screeching/chirping noise coming from exhaust...

Lately i've been hearing a loud chirping/squealing noise coming from my exhaust at around 1500 rpms and between the speeds of 30-40mph. Its so loud that if i'm driving next to a building, I can hear it echoing off the wall of the building... It sounds terrible.

Maybe a clamp is SEVERELY loose and vibrating like crazy, but vibration noise sounds different. It's almost a screeching noise. It sounds like a very loud cricket is underneath my car.

Any help is appreciated.

**There was a post earlier with a different title, buthanks to another member, I was able to make a more informative post about my issue.**

I'm having the same issue on my 2012 V6 M6. I've only heard it a few times but it's pretty much the same sound you're describing. It has only happened in 4th gear pulling right at 2,000 RPM. As soon as I let off the gas the sound goes away. I'm still under warranty so I'm going to take it in if I can't figure it out, but I don't have a clue as to what it actually is.

Hey Guys!

You can always go to a dealership to see if they can help pinpoint the concern for you. Please let us know if you were able to find anything out.
