hmmm....maybe I'll second guess that choice then.

I am going cam and CAI first... if I decide that isn't enough, then headers as well. Also racing grade brake fluid and a track ready alignment.

I will stay N/A for a little while. I plan on ordering a 2013/14 1SS/RS/1LE in SW with the NPP.

I intend on adding to it the following:
RX Catch Can
RX Oil Breather
Engine cover off
Considering rear seat delete
CAI intake with scoop
Ported TB
Kooks, SW, or ARH LT's with HFC's
Tune
Either Port IM or get a Fast IM
Upgrade/Improve already awesome suspension
Upgrade/strengthen transmission
Change out pads and rotors once they wear out
Strengthen the block/heads/rods/etc
Then eventually a whipple s/c with a chiller. Might get a different thermostat too. The s/c will be one of my last mods.

The car is great how it is, and from experience I know once you start modding you can't stop, haha.
I had the SLP blackwing, not too much to sniff at, better getting a Haltech Yellow jacket if you don't want to tune.

I drove the 15lbs Deka through all of Michigan winter (daily driver) but then as soon as I garaged it for weekend duty after three days it wouldn't start from sitting.

Really good weight mod though.

Does the Braille batter do the same if stored.

All the lightweight ones aren't really recommended for occasional drivers unless you're willing to keep it on a trickle charger.

If I weren't intent on keeping my current one I'd add CTS-V/ZL1 brakes, pedders supercar or BC ER coilovers, and probably headers cause it needs to sound like a real car. Then I would race the crap out of it and proceed to find/break the weakest link and upgrade as necessary.

I think it should have had the brakes/coilovers from the factory although it would have driven cost up another $2k probably.

I'm not looking for huge gains....

I just want to clean up the look of the intake by removing the stock elbow with the sound resonators. The SLP Blackwing looks oem, and it is a composite tube which is great for keep IAT's cooler.

Thanks for the input though. It's nice to hear peoples opinions who actually tried it out.

Lots of great suggestions. I think first thing I'd do is add in some new power, maybe replace the seats as well to loose some weight. Some nice comfortable Recaro seats, maybe an exhaust would do the trick.

How could I forget about Recaro seats! I want some! What's best place to get them? I was thinking of replacing the seats' material with ZL1 "suede", but this is even better.

I was on the Recaro website and noticed that they don't make seats for Camaro. I think the closest you would have to go with is the Cadillac CTS-V Recaros.
