it finally happened...1-2 grind

Well this really sucks...I drove my car to work this morning...about 20 miles into my drive pulling onto the highway I shifted first to second at about 6300rpm and quickly depressed the clutch and shifted to second quickly and it made the most god awful noise...the high pitched grind....it happened twice on ny way to work...I did try shifting at about 6k rpm but slowing the shift way down and there was no grind....I have an lsr shifter in the car....oh well...thought I was gonna get lucky since I have 4500 miles and this was the first time I heard it grind....I know there's a million threads about this but I just wanted to share that myn seems to be doing it now too. I'm gonna drive it around and see if it does it anymore

I've had a 1-2 grind happen to me a couple times.......maybe 2 times with the stock shifter and 3 times with the Hurst. Luckily, I wasn't in any high RPM's when it happened. It hasn't done it in about a month though.

Yea it sucks...I've tried a few more high rpm shifts but slowing the shift down and so far it hasn't done it again...I was just about ready to do long tubes and a cam but I guess that stuff is now gonna have to wait

Same here for me also :( It's depressing seeing all my parts just laying here now since I have to hold off on putting of them on now.

LT headers and any exhaust will not void any part of your warranty but the warranty on your exhaust. Call you dealer and ask.
