For those of you whose Camaro is your daily driver...

Do you wish it wasn't? Especially in winter? I LOVE my car to death and driving it is the most fun in the world. However I hate having it as my daily driver a lot of times... it has already been in one accident because of another incompetent driver, and I am always paranoid about other drivers.

Also it is constantly getting dirty and in this horrible winter weather we have been having... I just feel so guilty having to keep my baby outside. I wish I could afford to have a daily driver... I wish I still had my Silverado.

Anybody else in the same boat?

The storm you are experiencing doesn't occur every year up north. The last time this happened I was in 8th grade, where the state was shut down for almost a week. I think 1996.

Its just a freak weather, when the normal winter comes through for the next few years, you won't even worry about the Camaro being a daily driver.

I don't because I'm lucky enough to live on Vancouver Island in the summer and Buckeye Arizona in the winter. So I get to drive it year round and that rocks. I pitty those who have to drive in the elements or park it in the garage.

Mine is my DD when its above 40 degrees, but I decided spending the $2k on a beater to keep it clean and dry was worth it.

Do I wish my camaro wasn't my daily driver? No, I like driving it and don't really care about the weather. Would I like to have money to have more than one vehicle so I can choose what I'd like to drive on a particular day? Yes.

'96 was the year. I remember being a kid and the snow was up to my waist. I thought it was the craziest thing I ever saw.

Well, she's not my DD, but she lives outside and I do take her in inclement weather. I ride a motorcycle as my DR

GF's truck for other stuff - dogs, hauling, motorcycle towing, ...

I am going to try and talk the wife into letting me get a DD within a year. I put so many miles on my last car just driving to and from work.

You'd be surprised how many decent cars their are for $400 they may have lots of miles but if you find the right one it'll keep your Camaro out of the snow. I would never have bought an SS if I didn't have a winter car.

Mine is a Daily driver, and weather is not typically an issue here. When we do have snow and ice, my wife's SUV is 4WD, and we're lucky enough to be able to carpool. Camaro stays at home.

What decent car can you get for $400!?! For that much if I found a little truck I might consider it.
