status changes

looking through the threads, it seems that some have alluded to GM only making changes in status available once per week, but I notice some have gone from 2000 to 3000 in less than 7 days; thus, my question--are status changes made once per week or more often. Just wondering if I should keep from checking status more than once a week. Thanks

I never read that status updates occur only once per week. My status changed much more frequent than that when it was in the 3000s. I checked every few days once I moved past 1100. Maybe that's what they were referring to? If you're sitting at 1100 then you wouldn't see any movement until GM accepts your order and you move out of it. Once you move out of 1100, I'd check a few times per week.

nevermind the updates, if you check your status more than once a week, you WILL go crazy.
