2SS Infotainment System Options Missing

while reading thru the manual and setting up Bluetooth phones and such, i noticed that i am missing some options in the vehicle personalization menu.

in the manual on page 4-38, under "Entering the Personalization Menus" there should be:

- Climate and Air Quality (missing)
- Comfort and Convenience (there)
- Collision/Detection Systems (missing)
- Language (there)
- Lighting (there)
- Power Door Locks (there)
- Remote Lock/Unlock/Start (there)
- Return to Factory Settings (there)

also, in the manual on page 4-39, under the "Comfort and Convenience" heading there are two options:

- Chime Volume (there)
- Personalization by Driver (missing)

what's everyone else showing? anyone have any answers as to why my 2SS is missing this stuff?

we're under the impression that the 2SS is as equipt as it comes. it's not a huge issue, but if i'm supposed to have it.................where is it?

Sounds like some Cadillac stuff in the manual.

Someone some where did a copy and paste and did not read.

i'm shocked that nobody else who has taken delivery hasn't run across this. also, i'm shocked i'm not getting any answers.

this forum is going from helpful and informative, to bitchy complaints and GM bashing!

Very few people even look at the manual until the car hits 10,000 miles..

I read the entire manual, but not while fiddling with the radio at the same time so I didn't notice missing options, but I can tell you that mine is the same as yours at 2LT, so I wouldn't worry about it.

One quirk I encountered when setting up my options, is in the audio settings, there is an option for Auto-Volume, with the default set to Low. I wanted to set it to Off, but the car would not change to any other setting but Low until I made the change while I was actually DRIVING. I couldn't do it with the car on and sitting still. Weird, huh?

I'm not aware that the Camaro has any sort of collision detection system. That would lead me to believe that this is a copy-paste error.

Initially they were going to offer rear bumper sensors... Maybe a hold-back? Whatever happened to that?

If the car did not have a collision detection system, then how does Onstar get triggered when in an accident?
