Migrating to a new breed
Soon.......
I currently own a 2010 Mustang GT but, come August I will be ordering a 2LT/RS Victory Red Camaro, with a Sun-Roof and a 6 Speed. I love mustangs but, my interest has fallen. Being 21 I have owned 2. A 2009 and my 2010. But, Ford has left much to be desired. I am awed in regards to the interior of the camaro. The quality is second to none and they pack a great amount of extras in the 2LT and 2SS. I am really taken away by the leather quality as well. Plus the list of standard features. For a thousand or two more on the price tag it is worth it. I just wanted to introduce myself and give a little insight into my switch. I have seen a great amount of amazing Camaro's today being my first day on the forum. Thanks for reading! |

Welcome to camaro5. It's always good to hear when a mustang owner trades one in for a camaro. Enjoy the site and post some pics when you take ownership.

Definitely ! I have strayed from the Camaro due to the price tag but, the final product is worth it. Even though I can't take a plunge on a 2SS I am positive the 2LT will do me justice. My current mustang has 315 HP stock where as the V6 Camaro has 323 HP. Add a CAI and tune for some more juice I'll be tickled pink! I'm excited to school myself on the 5 Gens throughout the next months and pad my wallet for a down payment! Thanks for the nice welcoming.

I too had a choice between the mustang and the camaro.Obviously I chose the camaro.
My experience with test driving both, the mustang is a little quicker out of the blocks(comparing V6 only) due to the fact that the mustang weighs less. I personally prefered how the camaro handled overall as compared to the mustang. You will be happy with the 2LT/RS which have alot of nice features. The leather is okay but does not compare to leathers in more refined vehicles ie lincolns, cadillacs, infinity etc. but it is adequate. Overall great car...LET THE PERMAGRIN BEGIN enjoy and welcome aboard P.S. word of warning, the camaros are very addictive.Once you drive one you can't stop! |

Not trying to be a jerk, but if you think the Camaro's interior is second to none, you prob haven't been in many cars. Even our "fully loaded" models lack features that come standard on other similarly priced cars. And give that leather a year or so. Even with such an opinion, I love my freaking Camaro. It feels wrong driving anything else.

Welcome to the site!!
My brother has an 05 stang and I love that car. All the pony cars are awesome, we have two on the driveway and will either be getting a chally or viper to finish off the driveway lol As for what your getting, im a 2LT/RS owner, and absolutely love the car. But I dont think I would be able to go from a v8 to a v6.
