Exclamation Tremec 6060 (manual trans)

Anyone having synchro issues with their transmission?
29,900 miles. I'm losing reverse. Sounds like the gate isn't clearing and once it does the synchro is off- eventually catches to a horrifying grind/clunk wtf sound that feels like the trans just dropped out.

If you double clutch it and row thru a few forward gears before trying to engage reverse it will go in smoothly, but say you pull into a spot and immed. Reverse out....cggggrgrguuuunmph!!!
8*&%!$!!

Yes, had mine replaced at 8900 for problems i first and second, mine was supposedly sychro /output shaft bearing issues, they never really told me but my husband was ASE master tech and told me his suspiscions. Take it in hopefully they will just give you a whole new tranny like mine. I see your is a 2009 build as well like me,I think we still got in that bad batch from the factory! Mine built July 2009.

Do you know what GMs standard procedure is? Do they do an all out replacement or piece it back together...reverse fork, gear, synchro etc?
I know its on a 100k warranty but I hate losing my car for a week at a time and again

no,not sure, first they told me that they had "parts" ordered on the first day, then two days later they said it had too many issues and that they were just going to give me a whole new one and let GM sort out the issues with my old one. However; I had to take it to two dealer's before they would recognize it wasn't a "normal thing" that Camaro's and Corvette's do as was the case with the first idiots I took it to. They had mine for 6 days, and gave me a rental car for the time.
