Anyone have picts of the Hella 90mm fog / DRL projectors installed (on AAC's website)

Just wondering if anyone has installed the Hella 90mm projectors in the factory fog / DRL location?

AAC lists a kit "modified to fit the 2010 Camaro Fog Lights" here

http://www.automotivelightstore.com/CamaroFogKit.aspx

If anyone has installed these, how did the install go? What modifications were needed?

Is there a clear cutoff for HID's? The housing part #'s listed elsewhere on their site are actually a bulk part # ("Qty: 36" from Hella's info flyer) for another part # that is listed as a Halogen lamp, not Xenon. If it has a clear cut off then it's fine, but if not I'd still be worried that it would still have too much glare for oncoming drivers.

I was going to go the LED route until I read about all the problems everyone is having, so back to looking at HID again.

Or anyone found other proper HID projector units that fit well in the stock location?

Thanks, that's just the one with the factory non-RS housings correct?

25w just seems a little weak, but it sounds like the factory housings (both RS & non) too small for much more...

Does it just use the stock wiring setup, or add a switch, or not use the factory plugs at all?

Have you checked if the glare is bad for oncoming traffic?

Did you aim the fogs all the way down as far as they could go? I will be trying that and adding a manual switch for my RS DRL conversion.

I'm hoping spencerhids 25w 5k 5202 kit will be "not as bright" for nighttime use. I didn't want to try 35 watt halogen 5202 bulbs since they may melt the housing, even though they're not as bright as HIDs.

If all else fails, I'll go back to a high powered/bright designed led solution. 5202 has so much more options than p13w.
