PS4 pricing has been announced.

There will be multiple versions at launch ranging in prices from $399 to $599. No announcement yet on what the differences are between the versions.

this was just a rumor.
Sony just announced their price of $399.
I just preordered.
Sony Won E3 and this Console War and it hasn't even started yet!

much easier to pre-order now and decide in 4 months that you A don't want or B can't afford at that moment then to NOT pre-order and decide you DO want it.

I keep reading that there is going to be 3 levels of pricing. If the 399 one has a 500gb HD what will the more expensive models have? 1 TB?

No! There is one model, one SKU, 500GB. Unless they release something closer to launch, this is it.
