Well I've got the laptop bit covered as well so that's certainly good lol so did you also have to purchase a wideband?

Yeah. I always install one in cars I modify. It's a great way to tell if something is wonky.

Gotcha. Guess this will be a good thing to do now since I have plans for forced induction and a new cam as well but those are down the line. Though the wideband may be a little difficult to install on stock headers and cats.

Nope, just have an exhaust shop weld a bung on. They shouldn't charge much to do that. Most widebands come with a bung.

Solid. This could turn out much easier than expected then. Gonna start checking out widebands and mounting spots.

Also remember, I live in MD. I could always make a day trip out that way if you need a hand.

I had mine done at a welding shop in town. They have been around for 75+ years so I figured they were the best shop. Only cost 40 bucks for the welding.

Here is where my bung is mounted on my LTs

Looking good. But isn't white going to be impossible to keep clean?

I figure it can't be any worse than the bright red would have been.

Absolutely. For this I will definitely need some help so once this one gets rolling I will probably take you up on that.

Nice that's good to know its inexpensive to get it done. Question for both of you, do you just plug the wideband in when tuning or have it on all the time?

I have mine on all the time. It's useful to know if your car is running fine when your modified.
