Pedders Coilovers
Hello everybody. I need my car dropped an inch or so to eliminate the wheel/fender gap and give it that more aggressive look. However, I greatly value having a good, quality ride in terms of smoothness and I also care about handling.
What benefit will I obtain when I order JUST Pedders coilovers without sway bars & bushings? Can anyone point me out in the direction of the best deal? Thanks.

I had the pedders Xa's for a while before I picked up some sway bars. The car tightens up in cornering, ride is fully adjustable from softer than stock to full out race spec.
You'll be able to notice a difference right away with the ride quality, handling and smoothness. You can even adjust it to ride like stock, but with better cornering if you want to. The sway bars will just improve your car even more in conjunction with the coilovers if/when you do get them. I was impressed with having just coilovers. The stance and ride quality were improved without anything suffering. |

That's exactly what I thought. So the $1,8xx is worth the coilovers?

You guys are going to love the Pedders coilovers! I went with the Supercar version, can adjust both directions on the coilovers, they are amazing! Really helps on the launch to be able to get the weight on the back and hold it a little while for traction.
PM Pete, he will be more than happy to figure out the best route, and installer to take care of you.

my car is .75" lowered. Mike Haddad said it would settle another .25" duyring the first few months.
When they installed it and aligned the car, it was set to .75". =) |

I have had both versions of Pedders Coilover shocks. I have the Supercar coilovers now.
The original Pedders XA Coilovers improves the ride a LOT. It is nice to be able to adjust the suspension stiffer when you want to play. You can set the ride height where ever you want it. I would talk to Rob at Wretched Motorsports for a good price. He should have a set or 2 on the shelf ready to ship out. Give him a call - he will answer any questions you may have. He is on the c5 forum as Rob@WretchedMS here is his Cell phone #. Cell 860-880-0GTO(0486)|Coupon Code-Camaro5 http://wretchedms.com |

I have the Pedders Supercar Coilovers as well. If you want to know anything about them, the install, or take a ride in a fully Pedderized Camaro let me know. It will blow your mind!
Rob@Wretched is definitely the way to go. |

Very cool. I just don't have the money for the supercar coilovers. :( I'm the type of guy that likes to go big when I go for something, you know, top of the line all the time. However, being my age and a full-time student at a $40,000/year university with this huge car payment, the financial side of things aren't too great. lol

How much better are the supercar coilovers to the Xa. Are Xa fine for agressive street fun?

Well the supercar coilovers seem to be smoother because of the extra oil.
