** ENGINE BAY MODS **
Looking for some ideas to dress up my engine bay. I wanna do something w/ the engine cover itself & also some other parts. Getting ready to put it away for the winter so I'm looking for some cool ideas for winter projects. If any one has ideas or pics of things they've done that would be perfect!!!

Engine bay mods
You could always paint and add some chrome to your cover. Showstoppers also makes some great covers to hide some of the ugly stuff.

you can add Hood lift support covers that come in chrome or black or white, with Camaro stamped on them. then add some full radiator show support panels

Do the coils attach to the sides of thos valve covers? its hard to tell exactly what is going on there. Looks good though.

Yes, they are relocation brackets that attach to the valve covers similar to these. http://www.jegs.com/i/Proform/778/69...ductId=2417321

Engine Bay Clean-up
Here's a shot of mine. Just cleaning up some hoses makes a big difference.

These are crappy pics and don't have my wheel wheels in, but you get the picture.
Ditch the fuse box and ABS module (relocate) Put nylon braided hose with AN fittings to replace factory rubber hoses and ditch the hose clamps Add carbon fiber and relocate those hoses. You just need to find a theme and stick to it. Mine is carbon fiber and just looking clean. With all black and nickle color. |
