Thanks for your insight. For me, it's not a question of functionality (whether it'll be in the way or not), it's 100% aesthetics. Personally, I'll come up with a better "look" but only because I have the advantage of having a machine shop at my disposal to fabricate something. When I'm done and satisfied with the results, I'd be happy to produce more and sell them at cost to members here if anyone's interested. If anyone comes up with ideas, feel free to PM me with them. I'll send my email to anyone who wants to include sketches, etc... If I use your idea, yours is free.
