2nd gear grind??!!
Ok so I've been opening it up 1st through 2nd a bit more. When I go to 2nd from 1st its been grinding and not going into gear. It doesn't do it all the time, but wtheck... yes the clutch is down to the floor etc ^.~ I've had manuals all my life, raced, drifted, only time I've had issues is when the syncros or something went out on a tranny... I don't even have 3500 miles on it.. is this common?? Thanks!!

yes it's common. there are a lot of threads about this..my trans did it.. they replaced it.. did it again, changed the fluid and it seems fine..go figure

Lots of us are having the same problem. My local dealers are oblivious...say that it's "normal".

its because of the steel synchros that are used in the tr6060. The true remedy is carbon fiber synchros.. but that's costly.
I put in Royal Purple Synchromax. seemed to help a lot |

Take it to the dealer and have them make a note of it even if they can't "reproduce" it. My car did this for the first few thousand miles when the engine was cold and I drove with enthusiasm. I don't remember the last time it happened though and I have almost 10,000 miles now. Some people's problems are worse than others. Hopefully your problem is like mine, and it just needs to be broken in more.

Hrmmm, that sucks lol. Looks like ill be heading to the dealer, see if they will change out the fluid for free/check it.
