Looks like a smart plan. I'm going to do the same. Might as well install the spacer at the same time, along with cleaning the valves all at once. How are you going to port your manifold, are you doing it on your own?

Yes, I'm going to get the filler that tlavoie used when he did his on his own. Take out the tbar, wash it out really well, fill in the oil well in the front. Let that cure for 24 hrs. Then go at it with a lower speed die grinder and a cartridge roll. Will check out some vids and ask someQ's from members that have done it them self. Jason said to go slow so you don't melt the plastic.

I went to Hobby Lobby and got a can of plastic casting resin to do mine.
Cost me $28.
It's still sitting on the window sill in my kitchen.
I was going to port the intake when I got the spacer, but didn't have that much time the day I put the spacer in.
I watched the video tlavoie put up and it looks very doable.
I'll just take my time.
Should take about 3 hours.
We will see who gets theirs done first, me or Kenny!

If you guys DO decide to try this yourself, make sure that whatever filler material you are using is compatible with fuel and oil, it also needs to have a high heat tolerance. The stuff I use I purchase from a local special effects company, it is good to over 350 degrees. They used to make intake parts for the Ariel Atom with it. It's the best, but it's not cheap.

DONT USE CRAP MATERIAL FOR THIS IF YOU TRY IT AT HOME.
