Tire Pressure

What's everyone running for tire pressure? I have a bone stock 2011 2SS/RS with Dealer installed Nitrogen in the tires, in the morning it is around 62 degrees here in Tampa, the pressures are 32 in some tires an 33 in the others, when I get to work, mostly highway, they are 35, in the late afternoon it's around 80 degrees here and on the way home from work they go up to 37.

They are currently a little low. Set at 36 PSI cold first thing in the morning. Its natural the pressure will increase as the tires warm up from being driven on.

The problem with adjusting the cold tires is, my dealership that has the Nitrogen is over 10 miles away, would it hurt to add regular air?

No, it's not going to hurt anything. Nitrogen is pointless in Florida anyway!!! You guys don't see the big temperature swings to really make use of it, regular air will be fine.

You can add regular air but over time the CO2 will degrade the quality of the Nitrogen.

Will it hurt it that much? No...hardly noticable.

Always check your tire temps "cold" to get the correct reading too folks. After driving them a couple miles they heat up and the pressure increases directly.

Or better known as "Charles Law":

At constant pressure, the volume of a given mass of an ideal gas increases or decreases by the same factor as its temperature on the absolute temperature scale (i.e. the gas expands as the temperature increases)

Air is like 70 percent nitrogen anyway. It doesn't hurt to add air.
