Saw this and immediately left the house for joanns fabrics and then realized it might be a little harder than orignially anticipated haha

It's really not so bad. Go to Freight Harbor Tools or even Home Depot and pick yourself up some trim tools.. I literally did that much in 5 minutes. I got blue fabric dye pen as well to color the snipped ends (white on the indside) but you could also burn them with a light to seal them in.

I am going to try to go around the rest of the panels, tops on mine seem to have ZERO gap, but and going to do my best to pop a corner up and feed it through.

Did you get the idea from a Challenger forum? - It's a very popular mod with that crowd, but using vinyl piping and welt.

Very clever use of resources. I like it..a lot. How long have you had it in now? Wonder how long it'll last before you have to "retighten" it back in position.

I'll take more pics tonight.. actually got it to go on the top too. Looks a lot better.

Those panels are in there so tight I don't see them moving. Will keep you updated though.

I did this a while ago as well. I liked it but eventually painted my trim blue instead.
