ZL1 Hood
Is it my imagination or is the ZL1 hood bulge higher than on the SS model or Z28? It just looks higher, any confirmation on this??

It is. Slightly. It's exaggerated a bit because it ramps up quicker in the front.

The ZL1 hood bulge is also a bit wider as well - at least on the 2010 - 2013 model years..

Is the overall height greater at the back of the hood, at the windshield?

Actually, it isn't taller in the back than the "regular" 2010-13 hood from what I can see in my garage. It's taller overall, because it ramps up quick in the front for the insert vents and is a wider bulge than the 2010-13 SS hood.
It MIGHT be taller in the back than on the 2014/15 SS, not sure. As far as I know, the 6 cyl hoods and 2010-2013 non ZL1-hoods are all the same for 5th gen. Could be wrong on that. Just took a picture and it APPEARS they're the same height in the back. I know the pic isn't great and both hoods are popped for the battery chargers but you get the idea.

Thanks for the pics el ess A!!
Nice stable you got there. The side by side shot shows the difference, gotta love the uniqueness of the ZL1!
