Based on what you've done so far and the changes you have coming, I think a black dovetail might look nice. If you had planned on getting stripes, I would have suggested white I think. I'm not really sure on the wheels without seeing them, but if it were me, I'd try to keep everything the same. So if you were going for flat black top, decals, etc, I'd do that on the wheels too.

BTW, all you SW guys rocking the color matched heritage grill are REALLY making me want to pull the trigger on that thing! Looks awesome!

Non matching orange stripes

Hey, it's me again.
I was thinking that maybe if I redo stripes with matte black,
it would look ok with the inferno orange hood and trunk.
What do you all think.
I need advice

Honestly, I think the side stripes are too much. The car has way too much going on with those and the rallye stripes. Just stick to the rallyes.

Less is more on white. Lose the side stripes and keep the rallye as said above.

Finally hit 1000 miles, did the first oil change, and gave it the first bath.

Thanks!

I have a Nikon D200. That day I had it set on JPEG normal, ISO 100, 1/125 @ f-4. I fixed the blown out highlights in Photoshop's Camera Raw and also turned up the clarity there. In Photoshop, I was able to open up the shadows in the grill using a 50% overlay and then painting with a white brush.

I have yet to try the HDR, aka the 'Harry Potter effect' since learning it at a seminar back in Jan, because I'm too lazy to carry my tripod and bracket a shot.

This is a set of our Roto-fab S/C engine covers painted to our customer's specs to match his car. I'm hoping he will post an installed pic on this thread.

Nice! I'm definitely doing the smoked side markers soon, but I'm nervous about pushing my luck with the cops on the taillights, even though they look awesome. Did you install them yourself or have someone else do it?

I installed them myself. I bought the stealth smoke kit from Headlight Armor and I was very impressed with how precise they fit. In direct sunlight you can still see a little red color in the taillights. Thats the darkerst color they offer and when the brake lights come on you can barely tell they're smoked. I don't have RS taillights though.
