Need a quiet exhaust.

I hate living in Wisconsin! I love my parents and my one grandma I have left and my older brother. If I wasn't soo close to them and enjoy their presence I would be outta of here in a heartbeat. I'm 27 but I have been stopped 6 times only got one ticket out of those times but the sad part is they never pulled me over for speeding or a legit reason.

Several guys have added the Magnaflow resonated X pipe to their setup to quiet it down and to get rid of drone.
That might be enough to keep the noise police happy.

I was pulled over for taking the far lane while turning. That was when I had my Cadillac, every time id get pulled over, I was drug searched...Silly stuff. All my family lives here too, so if I do leave it won't be until after military or college. I'm only 18 at the moment.

I think I'm just going to put some mufflers on and tell them it's pretty damn close to stock and hopefully they believe me. It just sucks that I put so much money into the car to make it the way I like it, then have to spend more money to make myself un-happy and the police happy.

Headers do make any exhaust louder.

But I have the Magnaflow Street catback with Kooks headers with high flow cats and its not very loud. Its fairly aggressive and sounds great above 3000 rpms, but below 3000 rpms its pretty quiet.

I'm actually taking off my cats and putting a race pipe to make my setup a little louder.

Adding high flow cats and a resonated X pipe/muffler will make a pretty big difference in the noise level.

Corsa Catback w/ resonated X-pipe is another option. I just installed it for the second time and still can't believe how much is sounds like stock.

However I'd hate for you to spend a bunch of money and have it still not pass... good luck

The main problem is living in Wisconsin you don't see many modified new cars. If you do everybody assumes your rich or doing drugs. Me I have the car payments and cc debt to prove it:( Good luck with your exhaust. I have the catback exhaust on my 2LT. It's nice and loud to me

Corsa + long tube headers is not quiet. It's pretty darn loud when you mash the go petal.
Is the Corsa + resonated X pipe a new exhaust by Corsa (made for L99s)?

If it is I'm not familar with that exhaust. I know the regular Corsa is pretty loud with headers.
