what game were you watching, they definitely deserved to win that game, they killed off four penalties, including an early 1:27 two-man advantage, and had Boychuk miss a penalty shot, or it would have been three short-handed goals, NJ was lucky they got back in the game.

Both teams looked awful last night didn't they? Like neither club wanted to be there. I thought at one point Datsyuk was going to fall asleep. Somebody forgot to tell the refs to show up too!

At least the goalies were there to play.

the nhl and the nhlpa honestly destroyed this season.
Between the shortened season and the extremly condensed schedule I'm not sure what's worse, a lack of a full season or the total lack of rest causing games to really be bad to watch.

I haven't missed a Bruins game in 5 years, weather live, in person or DVR. It just...bleh this year..

Detroit certainly looked beat to hell after back to back games in 2 nights and the only time I thought the Hawks had a pulse was when they scored. They could barely pull off a tape to tape pass and their powerplay could hardly produce a shot and it's league wide too.

The funny part is...with the entire league roster looking like players want to drop dead the big chiefs are trying to work out the cash money situation to have their players make another Olympic appearance.

With a bunch of guys just getting added to their teams injury list I wonder how many were caused by too much stress on the body as opposed to game injuries.

And how is it that the cap is coming down for next year and yet my season ticket price is going up 10-12%??

Its really hurting the defensive teams too. Defense is much harder then offense which is really hurting the defensive orientated teams, they dont have the offense to compensate

Whew, good win tonight for the Red Wings. Now we need to roll and stay in the playoffs. Even if it means a 1st round match-up against Chicago.
