60 THOUSAND PRE-SOLD CAMAROS - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I was visted a dealership this morning, and was told overall orders are at 60,000, which I guess would mean about another 25,000 have been pre-sold.
In this down economy, this is a good number since the 2010 year model has another year to go.

Maybe that number is the total that dealerships have ordered for the next few months...

Case and point, people will open up their pocketbooks if the product is worthwhile. This proves that dealerships are responsible for slow sales, as well as great sales..

I thought it dubious myself since I've seen more and more sales guys get on here and talk about having open allocations for Sept. and beyond
