Unhappy Help! I have two BIG scratches on my radio faceplate

Does anyone know a good product to cover or make disappear scratches on the clear plastic faceplate on the radio?
I think I was wiping away some light dust from the faceplate and scratched it with my rings.
Help! It looks horrible.
Can the faceplate be removed and replaced easily?
Help!

There is a gm tech bulliten for cleaning light scratches,
Clean the radio display screen and surrounding area with a clean, damp (not wet) soft cotton cloth or a micro-fiber cloth. Do not use any cleaners or solvents - use only clean warm water.
Important: Use only high quality automotive-type masking tape. Do not use cloth-type tape as it may damage the soft touch finish on the instrument panel. Remove the tape immediately after the polishing process is completed.

Mask off the surrounding area as shown to prevent damage or staining from the polishing material (Camaro shown, Solstice and SKY similar).
Apply a small amount of GM Swirl Remover Polish, P/N 12377965 (in Canada, use P/N 88900046), to a soft cotton cloth or micro-fiber cloth.
Hand polish the display screen using a circular motion. Polish the display until satisfactory results are achieved.
Finish the process with a clean portion of the polishing cloth using a straight cross-car motion.
Remove the masking tape from the surrounding area.
Clean the radio display screen and surrounding area with a clean, damp (not wet) soft cotton cloth or a micro-fiber cloth to pick up any dust left from the polishing procedure. Do not use any cleaners or solvents - use only clean warm water.

You may want to consult your dealer.

I posted a thread on this, Meguiars PlastiX is great for polishing the faceplate and removing light scratches. Hopefully they are not deep, the Meguiars WILL get them out.

Thanks, Rouge Leader!

Could you give me a link to the thread or tell me the name of the thread so I can do a search for it?

Thanks for your help!

I posted how the bulliten says to address the scratches. I'm sure the dealer can find the bulliten, but if you need the reference number it's #09-08-44-015B

for those of you curious plastic X doesnt work. I tried and basically the long of short of it is it didnt work. in really bright light there are a bunch of minor scratches around the now not as obvious scratch. In normal light you cant really see anything (so i guess thats good) but like i said bright light my scratch is still there :(

basically i just try and ignore it now, its been there since the first cleaning when my tag on my fiber cloth towel got caught under it
