Readily available will probably quite awhile but I am sure you will see them pop up on occasion fairly quickly. I saw a used SRT8 Chally with 4 miles on it at a dealership 4 miles from the Dodge dealer that sold the Chally just a couple of days after they first came out.

the first one's will probably start trickling in at about 1 year, but will still be hard to find. Probably ATLEAST 2 years, 3 years and you will see them regularly on the used lots.

There will be used Camaro's floating around under 20k within a year. Someone getting rid of an LS that quickly will be an oddity but it'll happen. Wouldn't surprise me if a few higher mile LT's go for that much, the first year is always the biggest hit in a cars value afterall.

Yea about 6 months to a year. I have been tracking Challenger SE's on autotrader, out of curiosity.

They are starting to show up with 2-8000 miles on them and production started May 2008.

I think Camaro's price will hold strong so don't expect lower prices unless lot of miles or they come from Avis with bunch of body fluids and cig burns.

Buying it to resale is not what the original poster was asking about.

3 years for lots of them at dealers and they will still be highly priced for used cars.. You will find very few the first year but there are always some who sell a car after 1 year. Those typically will try and sell it for the same price or more than what they paid for..

Alot of people are going to buy the Camaro because it's a "Hot" car and then find out it's not right for them. There will be used cars on the lots within a few months, but the prices will be pretty close to MSRP, because it will be a "Hot" car with alot of impulse buyers. After a year you should see the used prices become reasonable.

Give it 6-8 months. Of course these cars could vary in mileage but generally Chally R/Ts have held MSRP so expect MSRP to hold on SS Camaros. LS-LT Camaros could drop, but their performance may make this impossible and wind up with 8K mile Camaro LTs for 24K.

Damn dealer markups..
