Is Rally Yellow a metallic color?

Just a quick one I was reading a post earlier that stated rally yellow is a metallic colour, think it was on a bumblebee colour vs rally yellow thread.

Anyway my question, is Rally yellow metallic or is it a straight colour?

I have no way of seeing one of these in the flesh in the UK so thought id ask here as its the colour I want to order.

PS apologies for the spelling of colour even if we do spell it correctly ha ha.

A quick google search pulled up this post. It would appear that there is no metallic fleck in Rally Yellow.

Also, spell check says "colour" is incorrect and I agree, so :P

Edit: How do we not have a smiley for that?!? A travesty I tell ya!

ha ha indeed I believe you spell it color lol. I thought it was a straight colour but would have been a bonus if it were metallic.

Any idea what the code is, I may get my mate who runs a spray shop to do a spary out card for me.

This and this is the best I can find. I know nothing about paint codes so I dunno if it helps you.

I saw one up close at my dealer that was already sold. There is no metallic in the paint. It's the colour I am getting as well.

The two samples I saw up-close at the local dealer where both RY...a 2LT then a 1LT...the yellow was straight/solid and bright...no evidence of any metallic in the color. RY is one of my favorites...I initially hated it but it has grown on me above others.

Metalic color has a hint of metal flake in the paint to give it a shimmering effect.
