Just sold the stock wheels and tires to a C5 member in Dallas. Now to get them wrapped. Shipping them out Mon Not as easy as it looks with one set of hands. May have to bribe a friend.

I'm debating selling my stock rims... but I'm also thinking of getting some Blizas and keeping the stock rms as winter rims...

Crankiness is getting better... chatting with a friend today has helped a lot.

Good morning crew. Today is my Friday. I have stuff to do tomorrow. The Cruze has to go in for recall work. I need to talk to a guy about painting some underhood things for me. I spent my day getting ready to go racing Saturday down in Bradenton. Tires changed, oil changed, air filter cleaned, catch can emptied, car washed and waxed. The car is ready. Not so sure about the driver. I'm going to be really dissapointed if I don't get a timeslip with a 12 on it. I'm tired of being the fastest car in the 13 bracket on our club ladder.

Looks like the weekend weather will be really good for racing.

Yeah, I remember that one. Pretty cool huh? I'm already in weekend mode. I love 3 day weekends. On normal weekends I always end up feeling like there is not enough week in my weekend. I hope The recall work on the Cruze does not take long tomorrow. I have things to do & places to go gettng ready for Saturday's Music City Camaro Club Fall Brawl car show & drag race event. I love my Camaro Therapy! Good luck to you too dcarlos55. Go out there & get you that 12. I'll take your 13! Hope everyone else has some cool weekend plans too.

Imho would keep them for Winter Rims if you are going to drive it.

Jan Recall item should be quick. Just had one in for the recall and 15k service. Was out in an hour and a half. The issue itself is just drilling a hole in engine shield for oil to drain out in case oil leak due to filter installed incorrectly.

Should only take them a few minutes.Enjoy your three day weekend and therapy!

Only one that I know of Dave with the VR SS "Voodoo" from Tampa. Most of us are staying put at a local Cruise and watching the Gators. Scott with the black SS(Announcer for the loudest exhaust at Rally) broke his 6060 Output Shaft at Bradenton two weeks ago on second pass. :( Good luck.

Time for me to get ready for a day of getting ready for our club's big fall event. Ruby is ready ro rumble. This is going to be a lot of fun win or lose. Of course I do hope to line up against some Mustangs & smoke 'um. Ruby is hungry. And it is always fun to beat a couple of Camaro V8's. Even if that does not happen, I can't wait to see (and feel) what happens when I put the pedal to the metal in Ruby with her new mods.
