where can I buy the 1le hood wrap???
I don't want to ask my dealership because they will probably throw a rediculous price at me. So any help will be appriciated and I don't know if this belongs on the 1le forums lol

Try a shop that does vinyl graphics and/or body wraps on cars/trucks in your area. They can likely obtain and install your hood wrap. Good luck!

Go to a local shop, they'll be half the price of the dealer.

No idea why you would want to order a part. Its simply just 3M vinyl. Any shop that carries it can install it and you never even have to see the dealer.

Yep, as was posted above, any good vinyl shop can recreate the look for you. Night Shades (forum vendor) did one for a friend of mine and it looks great. Actually, he had the concept 1LE hood wrap done with the fender hash marks and it looks great!

I just had mine done at SSCustoms up here in Redwood City Ca. They did an awesome job, are really nice guys, and definitely a way better price than a dealer. Plus if you go to a vinyl shop you can always change it up and customize it if you want. You can go gloss, satin, matte, carbon fiber there are alot of choices if you want to go that way.

I would just do plasti dip. It's a lot cheaper and will probably get better results.

In constrast, you might spend $6-12 on plasti dip depending if you need one can or two. The results will look exactly the same. Plus, you get the benefit of re-spraying it if/when you get a rock chip....and if that's not enough...you get the bonus of doing it yourself! |
