I've been emailing my dealer to get progress on the order. Just opened one up this morning telling me that my order jumped 2 spots and is being built! I guess the orders in front of me have options that have constraints. So mine was next to go. I was a little disappointed because we didn't get a call telling us it was being submitted. Called today and guess they had a problem with a manager screwing up (and no longer there) and that is why we didn't get one. But excited it will be on its way!!

I really wanted the short shifter but that is something on constraints. We have the option of getting it put on after the car arrives and restraint on it is lifted. Not sure how I feel about this. Is anyone else getting one put on after car arrives?

Wait for the Hurst aftermarket shifter, it will be easier to install. The Hurst-GM shifter will be dealer installed when it is available. Then it will be installed at the factory. I wanted the shifter too, but dropped it from my order long ago and it is still not available. There is a thread on here with a member who is test fitting the aftermarket Hurst, it will not require you to drop the tranny like the GM version will.

Thanks for the welcome wyocamaro. This is going to be one of the longest weeks of my life. My 2LT started its journey via train on Friday. Hopefully it will be here before the end of the week.

So are ANY of you getting to tour with that weather down there? Curfew at 2pm! Looks like things will be better in time for the CCC on the 20th (see earlier posts). After that, maybe the 27th, any of you up for a trip to fort collins, meet say at Verns on old US287, then up to Laramie, Walden, then back down CO14 to Ft. Collins? Less traffic this way than west of Denver! Vets and stangs come this way from time to time.
I think the dealer here will sponsor a lunch or before lunch gathering, have space in the lot, etc. Several great 69's in town would show up. Take some time in Laramie to visit, compare notes, then on over the hill on the mountian roads. One hour to walden, 1 1/2 hours back to Ft. Collins.
27th might be best, otherwise July 11 or? Got to get a date and count, so post up.

Assuming I have my car by then the 27th would work for me. I am unavailable on the 11th. Sounds like a fun time. Now I just need my car.

I am up for the 27th. This sound great! Does anyone have time to Put a map together and PM the others with cars already. I would but my time is still slammed on the QC thread.

I can take the lead and do the map. How about a post here? Do you think PM the map would be better? I'd have to sort through here and find out who has cars or use squirrel site to locate?

I have confirmation that Laramie GM will host us around noon, if we have 10+ cars coming. I'll meet folks coming from Ft. Collins (or I could do a down and back flip), then on over the hill. About a 200 mile trip from Ft. Collins to Laramie, Walden then back to Ft. Collins.
