Super low turnout this year. Our club pretty much boycotted due to poor organization last year. We only had 4 5th Gens there...

There are definitely some serious 1st Gen Camaros that always show, but if you are actually entered in the car show they require you to drive back out on Sunday and sit all day again. That's fine but they don't tell you that until after you spend all day Saturday waiting for judging to happen and then they tell you it's on Sunday. They ensured us that wouldn't happen this year and then did Exactly the same thing. Sucks to get your car all shined up then drive half way across Houston to get home, then have to do it all over again... When the 5th Gens show up around here there's normally a minimum of 30 cars. This show there were very few. Hope they get it fixed.

I don't know about the shootout. I only showed up for Sunday.
For me, there was a lot of restrictions (as media)...photography rights were a pain in the butt. But I managed fine... Definitely a huge difference with the Camaro5 fest...I thought Super Chevy was going to be as media-friendly as Camaro5. |
