HPTuners interface not getting power from diagnostic port... any thoughts

If I plug the interface into the diagnostic port I get no power to the interface regardless of the ignition switch position, if I plug the interface into the usb on my laptop I get power, vcmscanner can see the interface but can't see the car. Maybe the diagnostic port fuse, I have no idea where it is to check.

Thanks in advance

Robert

Check your cars manual, all fuse information is in section 9.
Here is an online version.

Found the problem, it was a blown fuse for the diagnostic port. On the driver side dash fuse panel, it was fuse F2, the DLC 7.5 amp fuse.... now to run over to the auto parts store to get a replacement, better yet, a 10 pack of replacements.... The cig lighter was fine, checked it with my GPS. Thanks for getting me going in the right direction though as I found out where the side panel was by poking around searching for where the lighter fuse was.

Good deal.

Most older GMs use the cig lighter fuse for the OBDII port, so it was a guess on the new camaro...
