OEM color caliper paint: IOM?? is it a such thing?

If so please direct me to it. I am Powder coating my wheels white next week, so I would like to go ahead and paint the calipers as well. Could I paint them with factory IOM and then get coated clear for heat protection? Just asking..

Thanks!

SD

YES there is.....probably one of the best known companies that makes Caliper Paint Kits is G2. and YES they make their kit in IOM. here is a link directly to the Chevy Costom colors for their kits.....the IOM is the 6th one down in the listing.

I don't remember the post title or the poster, but I saw one on here earlier, a member is selling a G2 kit with brembo decals, $40 I believe.

They do have the Chevy color TORCH RED which is very close.....close enough you most likely couldn't tell the difference.

My SS is my DD. So.... cant take them off and ship them. Does the spray look bad? doesnt look so from the pics on G2's website. I want a smooth finish. Not lumpy and bumpy looking. Geting a custom auto paint guy to do it most likley.

The G2 brush on goes on smooth. You just have to do about 3 layers. Here is their standard orange. Close enough to IOM for me. They do offer color matched but its twice as much.

You don't need to ship your calipers to him. He sends you a set of painted calipers and then you send him back your OEM calipers
