Yep, mine were the same. Opened them up Saturday and ran up through a valley pretty hard, can you say BARK!?!? The neighbor at the top of the hill gave me a thumbs up when I went by. |

If I don't get it fixed then I HAVE to drive my daughter to cheerleading and everywhere else.
So I GOTTA get it done. I'd be prolonging the inevitable. He ran it DRY about 6 months ago. Since then had to replace the water pump (only about an hour job and the ONLY easy thing on this pig) and the radiator has a crack. Been filling with water but I suspect the head gaskets may be letting water through. Not possitive but this was going to have to be done. |

changed the water pump out with a couple friends "helping" turns out one of them hooked up the steam hose and the overflow hose up backwards to the radiator neck... so when the engine would get warm/hot, it would send all the hot coolant to the overflow tank... which just dumped it out didn't have time enough to look at it and spent about 2 weeks with 6 gallon jugs of water in the passenger floor board each way to work and back. by the time I got it fixed, I had blown a head gasket
