No, I don't think its luck at all... Seems like almost everybody has been good on clearance, but there is def a select few that has had some issues, me of course being one of them. They sound amazing though! Hahah! I think I am going to have to get some cats though.

Glad it worked out for you , im sure it won't hinder performance in any meaningful way .

I never drive it in the winter, and it almost never sees rain, so the rubber boot is useless to me.

Now if you drive it in the elements......

I have the TSP 2" headers and they rest on the passenger side of the frame. I have about a 1/2" clearance from the steering shaft knuckle on the drivers side. I emailed TSP and they asked me to take pictures and send it to them, which it did but, I haven't gotten a response. At best, they vibrate against the frame, most of the time, they rattle against it. Pretty embarrassing if you ask me and I don't think dimpling the headers should be a viable solution.

I loosened the motor mounts and attempted to move the motor over with no success. Trying to leverage it with a pry bar didn't work, either. It just shifted back into place. For those of you who did move the motor over, how'd you manage to do it without damaging anything in the process?

Hmm. I'm guessing sometimes the tube that goes by the frame springs out a little after being welded together. I had Pfadt headers on my C6 that would hit on the passenger frame rail during WOT and turns. They just replaced the header for me and the clearance was easily double what it was with the header that rubbed. I would love some Tri-Y's for my ZL1, but they went out of business.
