Cool Engine/Tranny Test Fit

Test fitting the engine and tranny. Unfortunately, we have to replace the oil pan as this pan hits the power steering rack n pinon assembly.:(

Cool pan, but it must go!

We are going to put in a standard '69 pan.

a good sheet metal guy could modify that pan very easily!

Looking great Curt can't wait to see it in person as well love that color!!! Watching yours come together and getting excited is giving me a taste of what I'll go through if I ever get to do my 1st gen project!!!!

The project is on hold for a bit. Jim is heavily into his Drift Racing. The two guys that have been working on the '69 are part of his race team. They'll hopefully work on my car in between races.

On the bright side, the paint shop manager mentioned to me that he plans on painting the rest of the parts tomorrow. Yippie!

I'll post pictures soon.
