Pittsburgh C5III Fest Camarovan - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Is anyone from Pittsburgh that is going to the C5III Fest interested in forming a Camarovan and possibly meeting up with the NE Ohio or SE PA Camarovan? We would have to leave sometime the morning of 8/2. The SE PA Camarovan will be coming across the Turnpike so we could meet up with them easily.

I was just going to post about this, to see who was going/driving together lol.. I absolutely plan to attend this, I hope, hard to miss when its rather so close this year!

Check out the mid-atlantic region forum/thread.
Their caravan is going right through your area on the way to Indy. Should be huge.

Contact edog (Ernie) as he is pretty much putting the caravan together.
There are member lists, travel dates, maps, rendezvous locations, etc, @ mid-atlantic region already.

Do you know what time you will be passing through Pittsburgh? Specifically, I-79 (PA Turnpike or I-70)?

I see that the mid-atlantic group will be passing I-79/I-70 at about 3:00 pm on Aug 1st. That is a possibility but I think most from this area will be leaving Aug 2nd and driving straight there.

You know they are staying overnight near Dayton Ohio on Wednesday night 8/1, not Thurs 8/2.
The caravan may be over 100 cars.
Western Pa and Eastern Ohio guys could meet up early AM Thurs near Dayton at the Holiday Inn
for the short trip to Indy.
Lots of time to get it together yet.

I would believe I70 will be quite popular, theres definately some places there that would be any easy meet up closer to pittsburgh, aka Cabelas offramp/parking, or out toward Columbus/Dayton area as mentioned
