I decided to hydro-dip the parts myself, man there are allot of little screws for the radio. Here is the final product for the radio surround and center vent. Everything came out really nice. Still haven't decided if I want to swap out for the color HUD and install the front camera kit that Ofer is making right now. Also thinking about adding the NAV upgrade.

Something else I did instead of the Flatstoppers for my tires is use 2 of the interlocking cushion flooring from Sear's people use for flooring in front of their workbench. I'm not about to spend $250 for the Flatstoppers. We got 3" of snow last night and it's really cold!

What footwell lighting kit is that? I'm looking for one that matches the factory aqua and just comes on when the doors are open.

There are just the factory ice blue ones. It has the option to switch from light blue to darker blue and light red and dark red, 4 options with the factory switch I have located in the side of the cup holder area.

overpar, im about ready to drive my car up to Iowa for you to do your majic. i am jealous. wow. i love that color and the chrome wheels. you dont see alot of chrome anymore, but i am old school and still like the looks. i like that abl lighting kit you put in your car too. i am putting some exhaust trim rings from phastek on my car next. i put some black chevy bowtie stickers on my center caps, thanks to your idea.

Presumably put some dot stickers over the HVAC markings during the hydro dipping ?

Yes, I used some painters tape and a hole punch to cover all the markings so they still light up. Everything came out pretty good. Iv'e heard a member is thinking about using a laser or something but I'm happy with my results.

Getting ready to dip my seat covers. I will post pics after there done.

Also just waiting for the camera instructions from Gen5diy.com to finish up the front splitter camera.

Merry Christmas to all. Just got some of my interior pieces back after the clear coating. They came out pretty good. I forgot to grab my center speaker cover, since I was in such a hurry to pick everything up before he closed for the holidays.

When in the hell will this weather get better? I'm so sick of the snow & cold. I can hardly wait for it to get nice out. I really envy you guys in the south that drive their cars daily. At least those of us in the snow & cold can keep the miles down on our cars!

It cost me about $1,100, very happy with them, I get lots of comments on them.

We just might get rid of our snow this weekend with a few 40-50* days. I'm sure you have allot of snow over your way? I can hardly wait for the weather to change! Take care.

UPDATE:
For all of you that follow my thread I wanted to update everyone and let you know that after 1 1/2 years I finally received my hood insert back from G3! I will have to buff out some minor scratches due to the packing but finally have the part in hand. He had to buy me a new insert. I had already bought a new insert this past fall so now have an extra one if anyone would like to buy a new exposed carbon fiber (ECF) insert let me know.

Do not sent any parts to G3 Carbon in Florida!!!!

Some new chrome pieces to show off to everyone. I just got the chrome hood hinges, trunk latch cover and trunk strut covers from "All Things Chrome." They have numerous other pieces. Prices were OK but not the best out there. Quality is pretty good, just hope everything holds up for the duration. My next project is to make a custom trunk liner. I also just finished making a custom car show sign, I'll post some pics of it later. Ready for the car show season to begin, our weather has finally turned the corner for the better.
