CAI Inc has never authorized a sale on their products so I wouldn't count on it. Hit me up when you are ready though and I will let you know if anything is going on.

are you 100% sure that the X-pipe won't fit on the convert 2012? I spoke to Phastek before buying it and they never mentioned that!

Yeah, I do know of one that got one and had to put spacers between the frame and the mid body brace to keep it from hitting. I don't feel comfortable modifying factory bracing.

Cool, I guess I was told wrong then...
Anyway I like the sound mine has now, I don't really want to change it. But it's good to know.

Mine was $50 since it only took 45 minutes, and $50 is my shops hourly charge. Depends on the shop though and some people DIY and seems straight forward enough on an axle back

It cost me $125.00 . For some reason, the pipes going to the mufflers were 2 1/4 and the exit pipe on the x pipe was 2 1/2. They made an adapter.

im having a hard time deciding on an exhaust. i like how the MRT v2 sounds but it seems everyone has that exhaust...i want something different but some systems just dont have enough if any videos available to help me decide if i want to get them. i like the stainless works retro chambered exhaust but there are only like 2-3 videos of it so hard to decide...i dont want to buy multiple exhausts to get it right, but i dont want to sound like every other v6 either.

I'm thinking the same thing...I don't think the drone will bother me either.

All depends, I know a lot of us have the MRT v2 exhaust but I've never met another person with a v6 that actually has this exhaust in person.

Many of us here have their exhaust because we think it is one of the best soundings for our cars. (my opinion) and that's why we go towards it.

There are a few other exhausts out there for our cars that do sound good, but that was only on one car or so and through videos it is hard to tell and it might not sound the same for your car. Just some thoughts lol

I am up in the air about an exhaust as well. I want something that is going to turn heads, but not be too loud(ricey), I also want a good quality exhaust. I think I have it narrowed down to Borla, MRT, or Flowmaster, but I have yet to pull the trigger on anything.

I spent a few months looking at different exhaust videos. (before I even got my car) I decided to get the MRT v2. It is a great axel back system, the sound is amazing does not have a ricer tone to it at all. Since I live in so cal that is something that I did not want at all. Way too many civics running around.

My plan is to match that system with solo high flow cats.
