Recommened Oil or type or brand for a cammed car

what oil/type/brand is recommened for a cammed car? using 10-30 Mobil1 syn with AC delco filter atm.. wondering if i shold be running something else?

But per AES (they built my shortblock) they recommended 20/50 Vr1 for breakin and for street duty lol

I think the Joe Gibbs LS30, Amsoil z rod or Redline oil would be good to use. The thing I wouldnt like about the VR1 is having to change it every 500 miles. I think Wix is a good filter as well.

Why 500 miles?
I do use the Mobil 1 m1-206 filter.

Mobile 0w-40 in my camaro- still has a decent zinc content.

2008 C6, 427ci,YSI,mcleod clutch,Alky control, built tranny, custom fuel system. 985rwhp, best 1/4 -9.4 at 152mph. still trying to get the shifting down:(
