Need Interior Trim Help! - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Well I've got a 1LT/RS in Victory red and I want the door panel inserts that stretch out across the dash. I'm not sure how the lighting for them works but if I were to find a set of silver ones how hard would it be to replace them with mine, I'm thinking of having them painted victory red.

On another note, does anyone know where I might be able to get a hold of these?

I don't think the 1 LT has the lighting, but I will be getting a Yellow Trim kit, and I would be glad to sell you the silver ones I take out!

Only the 2SS/2LT has the lighting and it is only in the door panels. If you search in the DIY section on this forum there are some very crafty guys who added the lighting to the dash panels. Don't know if it will work on a fabric covered panel. I think you will need a 2SS/2LT interior panels to do the mods.

I too would also like to replace the fabric door/dash inserts with the plastic ones that I could paint to match my car. I have a 1SS IBM.

I keep searching, waiting for someone to come out with factory replacements for these but to no avail. For us "fabric" folks, this would be a nice interior upgrade.....regardless if you want the ambient lighting or not.

I would possibly be interested in buying someone's if they are replacing them depending on price. It is just plastic right?

Yes it's just plastic, I kinda called dibs on BB_Yellow's but if I run across some I'll let you know.

Guys I will also be getting rid of my silver ones as soon as the yellows are released, mine are on preorder. i will sell my silver ones very cheap as i have no need for them, if you like send me a pm and i will keep track of your name and whenever they come out i will contact you.
