MSD BAP question
Does the vaccum port have to be plugged in and if so what part of the intake did you use for a vaccum source?

Yes the vacuumm port will need to pluged in, which means you need to route a line from the BAP to the back of the magnachager.
If you stand in the front of your Camaro, on the left side of the magnacharger, at the very back of the blower, where the end of the fuel rail is, there is a small vacumm nipple located just in front of the MAP sensor. Use this nipple as your vacumm source for the BAP. By the rear drive pulley for the nipple location. The tricky part will be routing a vac. line under the car. Regards |

If you need it the whipple install kit comes with instructions onhow to route it under the car. I can e-mail you a copy if you PM me. It's to big to post on the forum.

Here is the best picture I can find at the moment. Shot from the rear of the blower. I will upload a better picture as soon as I find one.
The boost gauge port is the same for the BAP, if both are being added you would just add a 'T'. The red circle in this link is a clearer picture of the barb http://www.flickr.com/photos/magnach...n/photostream/ Last edited by Jessika; 10-26-2010 at 12:57 PM. |

I ended up installing a T fitting at the brake booster to intake hose as per Ted Jannetty's recommendation. I seems to be working well
