high clutch engafement

I am the second owner of a 2012 ZL1...when the clutch engages the peddel is almost all the way up...I have not ever had a new hyd clutch just old school style fork mechanical diaphram style ...when if you pushed the throwout bearing in too far you could over center the pressure plate and have a sticking peddle ....is mine normal...the car has only18 thousand miles

Normal. I've driven three stock twin-disk clutches in ZL1's. All of them engaged at the very top of the travel.

Concur, my buddies ZL1 is up at the top. Right where you would want it, IMO.

Yup, normal for the ZL1's....

I felt like a spaz when I first got mine, till I realized ya don't have to push
the clutch any farther than necessary.

It doesn't take long to get used to it.
