Could, but it'd leave the oval backing rather than the molded bowtie of the bowtie grille.

S'ok bro. Just google/do your research, next time to make sure. It'd save you the headache of this and the STB foul-up in the future. :(

*Slaps stickynote stating "REMEMBER: I DON'T HAVE AN LSX CAR!" on hand before facepalm*

Yeah, I did too but the picture you provided and what I remembered them being (the bowtie) didn't match. So I looked it up on LM parts and sure enough, the insert was the exact same EXCEPT for the molding of the bowtie. Thus two different part numbers and not 1 part number and 2 emblem part numbers.

Making sure my TSP was gonna fit was a bitch (as were the tips).. but like I said, it's ok to make mistakes.

Many do; next time ask Spike, Revo, myself, Dmginc, Remy, or others with 4th gens or who had 'em. I'm sure they're like me in hating seeing you spend money you don't have to.

I put them on the Titan (fronts only) and the went out to bead them in. (40mph then hard on the brakes until 10mph, speed back up to 40...x 6, then 80mph then hard on the brakes until 30mph, speed back up to 80 x 4 then a nice cruise on the highway for 10 minutes w/o touching the brakes). When I say hard on the brakes, I'm talking stand on them. First time I ever felt the ABS kick in on the truck.

The brakes are night and day as far as initial grab and fade. I didn't do any "real" testing just my opinion from before and after setup. I was disappointed in the stock brakes though, they still had a lot of pad left (although the disc was getting a bit thin-ish) but the overall stopping power after getting them hot or bringing the truck down from 75mph got a bit scary (stock brakes).

The new brakes kick ass and have next to zero fade. The wife is happy too with them too (she drives the truck much more then I do anymore).

Is it "like new"? If so and you find a deal on the one you want (bowtie) I would take the other off your hands for your 60 + shipping. It has a white SS, correct?
