Drivers Seat Leather Coming Loose
Hello,
Just wondering if anyone else's factory drivers seat leather is continuously popping out of the track under the seat at the front left making it show the foam on the side? The plastic track that runs across a bar all the way across holds the leather seat cover comes undone every time I sit in the seat and when I get out I can see the foam on the side and I reach under the seat and roll it back into place and I tuck the leather back in place between the plastic on the outside of the seat . Almost 15,000 miles on the 2010 SS/RS and I don't think this should be happening already, I'm 165 lbs so I don't think I'm stressing the seat that much. I'm not upset really, I'll take it to the dealership to see what they say but I'm just wondering if this is common? |

No problems here. But have only put 1100 miles on the car since I got it in June. My wife is really heavy, but so far the passenger's seat is holding up.

No problems here. Sounds like a warranty issue.

Mine does. The dealership is ordering me a whole new leather lower seat cover. We'll see if that fixes it...

I had the same thing. Dealer replaced the lower seat cover. They broke the plastic side panel then had to order it and replace. Finally fixed.

I'm ~165lbs... noticed it shortly after buying the car. It really doesn't bother me but next time I have the car in I'll have them look at it.

I'll take a couple pics next time I drive the car and it happens. I'm sure the dealer will take care of it, Fairway Chevrolet is a great dealership from what I have experienced so far.

Ok, I drove the car today to get a few small dings out that were bothering me every time I looked at the car and I took a pic of the seat. By the way the guy that has a stand set up at the gas station on base did a phenomenal job on the dings and I couldn't be happier, if your a military member or are in the local Las Vegas area pm me and I'll give you his info.
