Headliner is Damaged and need a new one. Is this a DIY Job?

The body shop monkey pulled my headliner down and caused it to break and create two bad creases. He removed the XM ant to paint body color.

They paid me for the new headliner but I need to do the labor.

Anyone yank their SS headliner themselves?

Woah woah woah... why wouldn't they do the labor themselves if they caused the damage?

edit: I suppose that doesn't answer your question, but I did notice when I was cleaning the interior the other day that it seems to have just adhesive attaching it on the back part and haven't seen anything other than that keeping it on.

Guys the owner is a good friend and we do alot of buisness and he does all the paintwork on my vintage cars so I wont really bust his balls were cool like that. He also took care of me on the bill. I would let him do it but its so hard to get the car back to his shop 1+ hour away with the roads all salty and snowy I dont want to chance it. If I transport it both ways it will cost me $600 i rather do it myself. Chevy can deliver the part to my place and I can steal a helper to do it with me.

I just would like to know who has done it before I pull anything apart and break clips and I need to order more parts.

This is going to sound kind of weird but hang with me. Before you pull it out and replace it, try ironing it with steam on a low setting. If it isnt completely busted you may be able to save it.
