Color Schemes?

If I can afford one next year I would love to go with a black and chrome color scheme. It just screams style to me. I dont find the 'Blacked out' look too appealing. What would look good on the zl1 chromed? I could do the door handles, maybe the grill... not sure what else would look good.
what other color schemes are you guys thinking of?

Hmm... I think chrome handles look good on the trucks; I'm not sure about ZL1. I could see chrome chunky and SSX wheels. I'm not sure about a grille. I could see a polished billet upper and lower and maybe chrome Bow Ties, but that's all I can see in my head. I like the mono-color scheme, so I think I'm a little opposite you.

With all due respect

Excuse my ignorance but what are “chunkies”? Corpulent passengers?
I could see the gills with a chrome inlay maybe?

Surprising myself, I am now leaning towards the white with the ssx wheels. The extra black from those wheels, the extractor, etc look sweet.

I wish the carbon fiber would be able to be a different color. If you look at my sig, its almost like there is no stripe. I might have to add some silver bumblebee t3 stripes if I decide to go with a black car... I also like the original wheels that came out with the first car. I think the ssx wheels look messy. Black wheels dont 'pop' as much as chrome ones do imo.

Personally - I call the Chicago Show car wheels the chunkys I believe they are actually the optional wheels however

It sounds to me like you're into contrasting the colors. IMHO- you can't go too wrong wuth chrome ona dark or black car. You could paint the extractor to match if you want to. I think it goes well with the front grille and GFX but you should go with your gut.

Check the Camaro Photo's forum for ideas for modding your car for a
differant cosmetic appearance for the ZL1. Great ideas in thier, I found it
to be very informative.
