HEADLIGHTARMOR-BEWARE ALL SALES FINAL-NO Returns

Hi All,

I recently ordered HeadlightArmor rear tailight and reverse blackout kit (6 pieces) and installed on only one tailight. I was not happy with the look and so I reached out to them for a refund on the (5) totally unused pieces.

They have no retutun policy and so I am out the money, totally. In this day and age that should not be the way to run a business- what happened to wanting happy customers that will want to come back in the future and tell others? Just look at what Airaid is doing on this forum for their product and our members! Kudos Airaid, shame on HeadlightArmor.

Wanted to share this horrible experience with HeadlightArmor, appealed to them several times in emails...want others to know what to expect...make sure you see them in person first-or they are yours to keep!

best

I have their taillight blackout kit (30%)...What did you not like? To dark/light? Fitment? Tinted taillights just not for you?

I have used them in the past, ran into a problem, and they were more than helpful. Responded to my email promptly, and shipped what I needed same day. The fitment is great on mine, and look great to boot.

Could not get bubbles out and they actually hid the detail in the RS lights.

I had no problem bubbles. Of course that required me to pull the film back several times and patiently work te bubbles out while reapplying.. But patience ad persistance and not a single bubble. I also had some snags at which Headlight Armor resolved in a more than timely manner at no charge to me. They were awesome. I am
complimented alot for the tints. Maybe you would have been happier with the 30% tint? Sorry you were disatisfied.

And I THINK that Carid has the SAME policy. If the interior cuts have already been fabricated and ready or have shipped out, you cannot refund them. I was lucky enough that the kits I ordered (in the wrong color) had not been fabricated and shipped yet. And when I called to change the color I was able to "fix it". But I was told that if the factory had begun fabrication it could not be changed. The pieces are made to order and not stocked.
I do agree with you that they are extremely helpful and have a more than stellar customer service..Miguel is the bomb!

Anyway, policies are policies.. To protect the company. I'm sorry you had a bad experience.. But I don't think it makes Headlight Armor a
bad company to use. They make a good
product.

Maybe you could purchase the film that was ruined so that you have a full set and sell them yourself. That way there isn't a total loss to you. There are MANY people here who love the look and may be willing to buy..just an idea?

They are willing and able to help. I ordered in February and just now broke it out to find the back up light covers absent. Todd said no worries product will be resent. My personal opinion on a product like this is there would be a lot of people that either get buyers remorse after struggling to install or just the finished product that would kill the op for this business to thrive, and for the rest of us to get a quality product at a decent price. I'm not saying the thread owner here is one of those. I'm just saying. History shows this product is subjective to most people especially those new to it. I agree with the post that says to try to sell it. If it's new there will be someone here to take advantage of a deal. Good luck.

I guess I will try and sell them, I just do not understand why they would not take back 5 unused decals and try and keep a future customer, I was willing to accept a partial refund and pay all shipping fees? If they sell as many as they claim, they could produce 1 decal and have another complete set of 6?

I'am on the other side of the fence...say my customer buys 6 brass bushings and some reason they try to install the 1st on and they find out by there mistake they ordered the wrong ID. They boogered up the 1st one trying to install. Now they want to return the other 5. Food for thought.
