Might want to consider different tires. With a 60 tread wear you'll probably need new tires by the time you're done with the road trip, lol.

I can not speak for the OP but would put up due the following benefits.

Better weight distribution since most of the 50-lbs is in front of front wheels.

Better cooling, no Condenser to limit air flow.

Better access for quick engine changes (in case I over rev the motor).

The above will be in my garage (only $ 9K) ready to drop in for the next track weekend.

Lets every one know you are not leaving anything on the table, got to get the titanium lug nuts as well

A few reasons for no A/C.

I am/was building a 79 Z28 as a track only car, no A/C. Also have an 80 Firebird without A/C.
Personally I don't mind not having A/C, I have two daily driver cars between the wife and I, along with a 72 F100 Project that will get A/C.
IMHO, going sans A/C in a track focused car just adds to what it is.
I don't plan on driving this car every day, and it will see limited track use, more autocross.
And it is the only US production AGM no A/C car.

Surprisingly this one speaker isn't so bad. I can hear it at 75 mph, windows cracked and ear plugs in.

Those were from yesterday in TX. Garmin GPS is getting junked when I get home. That damn thing had me so far off track it wasn't funny. I was on some long stretches of road and didn't see anyone for hours. Glad I didn't get a flat or hit a dear. I did manage to run over a tarantula, had to have been 6 inches wide. I saw it up ahead and was trying to figure out what it was, not until the last second could I make it out.

Stayed the night at Altus AFB. Just happened to run into a ZL1 owner who had been stationed at McGuire, I had walked by his car so many times admiring it, we worked in the same building. Small world.

Made it past STL today. Traffic totally sucks around this city. I feel sorry for anyone who has to deal with it. No less than 5 accidents within a 5 mile stretch.

13 hours to go.

Finally home. Shoulders are beat, legs are tired. No tickets and no accidents despite a few close calls.
