body colored molded mud guard possible problem

just went to my dealer he was putting on a set of mud guards on a 2ss the front one didnt look right because of the little gm symbol on the lower part of the fender .the guard goes over it by about an 8th to 1/4 inch over it .so it doent fit flush .may be a concern for anyone who wants to go after market .i think maybe they should have put a cut out on the flap itself to go around the gm emblem. i only care because if its not flush all kinds of shit will get into that gap .im not complaining im just putting it out there

Thats strange the pics I saw of them installed on the car they missed the emblem by more than an inch.

I was planning on getting these but after seeing some pictures, not so sure. Is there any regular mud flaps made for the new camaro? I hope some more options are available soon.

I'd take some dental floss and remove that GM symbol in a heartbeat if it meant I was going to have a gap. It looks weird stuck down there any way.

I've seen a few others with the quarter flare mud flaps with the same clearance from the GM emblem, that should not be an issue...

After looking at other picture without the mud flats, maybe they moved the emblems back a bit to make room?

I don't think so though.

Could it be a LT vs SS? The original post was a SS and the pictures were a LT.
