I definitely understand where you're coming from. The side ones are being removed and I had already removed the bowtie from back there. I wanted to do something different because the bare spot had kinda got boring to me. So while waiting for the blackfire sealant to haze up on my buddy's charger, we decided to try putting a spare set of letters I had painted black on the back. It turned out pretty good so we kept it. For now it's staying. But knowing the way I am with the car, I'll probably change it up down the road.

When I first got my LT wheels, I knew I wanted black wheels but wasn't sure if I wanted it to be permanent. So I decided, like many others, to just plastidip them to see what it'd look like. Well yesterday I FINALLY got rid of the crappy plastidip and painted them satin black. So much better than plastidip!
P.S. The lug nuts will get painted right in a few days when I can buy some paint thinner and throw them in a bucket to get rid of all the plastidip. |

lscamaro's Slow and Steady CGM Build
While the wheels were being painted by my buddy, I decided to bust out the PC and give the paint a much needed compound and polish. For a daily driver that sits in college parking lots 24/7, the paint was actually in way better shape than I though. A few days ago, I took advantage of autogeek's christmas sale and bought the pot of blackfire blackice for the car. I put it to use for this detail and I love the look it gives the car.

I know this isn't a mod but I bought myself this toolset on Monday. Had a cheapie little tool set that I did my mods with but after seeing the sale they had on this one, I decided to buy myself my first "real" tool set. Got it for a steal and it should help on any future mods I do to the car. I also bought myself a 2 ton duralast jack from AutoZone that was also on sale. Should make adding mods a lot better
P.S. SgtPickles, it's been raining for the last 4 days here so still no side pics... I'll definitely get them ASAP though. |
